My husband Gary & I thoroughly enjoyed our New Years holiday at The Listening Inn; it proved to be an ideal place for a romantic weekend getaway!

Our cozy room featured a beautiful view of the snow-frosted trees from our balcony. We really appreciated warming up by the fireplace & soaking in the jacuzzi after a long hike on one of their many scenic forest trails.

Carol & Les are wonderful hosts- we enjoyed delicious meals as well as their hospitality by the huge stone fireplace in the main room of this gorgeous log building.

Anyone seeking to "get away from it all" will appreciate the fresh air & tranquil beauty of this lovely B&B.

"GREAT GETAWAY"

This was the perfect place for our 10 year anniversary! The Inn was beautiful, just what we were looking for. Very romantic for that specail getaway!
The trails were quite and peaceful for hiking and xc skiing (our first time), with tons of wild life to see. The trail guide (Buddy, the very sweet black lab) was alot of fun too!
Les and Carol are very friendly, talkative and attentive to their guests. Carol's cooking and baking were the icing on the cake for a great weekend. (Les's steaks were great too!) We definitely recommend staying at the Listening Inn!

Stephanie and Lynn Beem My husband and I was looking for a honeymoon spot in the U.P. I love log cabins and found the Listening Inn. When we got there, we thought we die and went to heaven. The rooms were just Beautiful and very clean. We found the Carol and Les the greatest people. The food was wonderful and plenty and the special packages worth it. We have gone back there now four times and enjoy the outdoor activity and the great company they provided.
So, if your looking for a great place to get away from everything and enjoy the out doors, then you must go and spend a few days. We are already book for out next trip.
